Miley Cyrus' Gypsy Heart Tour !!!!!

I went with Tyler, her sister Darcee and her friend Amy. We took the train in and I nearly missed it - great start Emma :/

After 40 mins we changed at Redfern, then changed at Lidcombe where we got lost cause we didn’t know where the Olympic Sprint line was. We went through the ticket things, which took our tickets and didn’t give them back, only for us to have to turn back around :| When we got to Olympic Park, we needed our tickets! For fucks sake….. but they let us through after we told them our story haha but the lady wasn’t impressed.. the man let us through anyway.

Headed to Maccas for dinner but stopped by the Subway line and saw Jess and Emily for a few minutes :D

I had previously looked online on the Ticketek map and knew we were up the top, even though we got pre-sale Gold tickets :| but I was determined to still stand and dance the whole time.

There were so many kids there! I did feel sorry for them as they were expecting Hannah Montana, but really the parents are idiots as it did not state anywhere that she was Hannah Montana.

All in all, I had the most amazing time. Miley is an amazing performer and one of my top 5 artists of all time so seeing her live has made me so incredibly happy! I danced and screamed and sang along to every song, losing most of my voice in the end. But that’s what I absolutely love about concerts, just letting go no matter how horrible I sound or how high-pitched my squeal is.

I found her setlist on Wikipedia so I had been listening to those for 2 days straight, but she changed it up a bit by singing Stay, which I fucking loved as it is one of my favourites (well who am I kidding I love like every song) but you get what I mean. She also sang Driveway which was nice as it’s an oldie and I hadn’t heard it in a while :)

I was excited for Party In The USA and Can’t Be Tamed cos they’re heaps good dance songs, esp Can’t Be Tamed, so when that came on I WENT FUCKING WILD. I started screaming like a massive weirdo and even Tyler was surprised hahaha :|

I loved when she sang My Heart Beats For Love - (in the last photo) she sat on the stage and started swaying with her mum and a few others and making love hearts with her hands with them and vise versa, it was soo cute!

Afterwards we met back up with Jess and Emily to take a photo :D

Half way through the concert my voice was half gone so by the end it was 90% gone haha, love it!

I was gonna get a program but I didn’t in the end :/ But my friends went on Monday so Alyce got one for me :D

Did any of you guys see Miley live? What did you think?

I've been eyeing these boots off at work for months now, and they went on sale at 30% off. Last weekend I finally had a Saturday off work so while I was at Westfield for my friend's birthday lunch I went and bought these babies! Combat boots are so practical.. I know I'm going to be wearing them everywhere :)

Also while I was there I went and bought this skirt! It was 30% off too. I've been wanting to buy a new one for ages because I'm sick of the grey Supre one I seem to wear everywhere. Plus I wanted a new skirt to wear to Miley Cyrus in a few weeks time :D I was set to look in Cotton On because I love the clothes there and always see that they have nice skirts. I was going to go with a plain black one until I found this one hidden up the back (it's textured if you can't tell)

My friend's 18th was organised last minute so I could finally wear this stuff! I also wore my boots the night before at another one of my friend's youth group with black jeans, a long top and leather jacket :)

Sometimes change can feel wonderful.

I've always been the shy, quiet girl. Always, since I was little. I'm just so awkward and.. yeah, y'know the drill. I also kind of consider myself as a wallflower (more like meaning #2, except I don't really have a "social disease" .. even #4)

When I first started at my job, I was super shy. I knew everyone's full names and everything, but whenever a word was spoken to me I'd end up laughing awkwardly then end up kicking myself later because I would think of something to say after the moment had passed. But as the weeks passed and I was growing away from the "new girl" image, the girls began to talk to me more. This obviously makes me feel more relaxed and I've started talking more too.. I've gained a bit of confidence I guess you could say.

Last night my friend Kirra invited me to her youth group, as it was bring a friend week. Being the timid person I am, especially around new people, I was obviously nervous. (There were two girls there I kind of know though - one I used to do dancing with, another was at my friend's birthday dinner in like December 2009 and I have them on Facebook and stuff) I surprised myself as not being too shy. I obviously didn't want to be Kirra's-quiet-friend-who-followed-her-around-without-speaking-a-word and I'm pretty sure I wasn't. So being the quiet one I tend to be, I obviously am worse around guys. I don't really know what it is.. I just have never been close to a guy before or hardly friends with them (I'm getting better though!). I surprised myself last night as I was talking to guys at youth who I didn't even know without being embarrassed and all that crap. So I actually ended up having a good time :D

I don't know, I'm just proud of myself.. I'm hoping this means I'm growing out of my shy-ness - obviously not completely.. but a lot :)

Growing Up.

So since today (April 9) has been my last day of being sixteen, I was planning on doing a post about most things I've gone through while being sixteen.. but then that would pretty much be a repeat of this post. So even though this may be boring for you, I think I'll just post some photos and main things from while I was sixteen. Let's say, a reflection of my time as a sixteen year old? Sorry for this lame ass post.

Photobucket

Of course there was turning sixteen in the first place. I had five people over and we just chilled and watched movies and ordered pizza etc. It was funny though because half way through a friend (who none of us really liked at the time, also who hadn't been invited) showed up at my door with some flowers for me. Then she continued on by bitching about some of our friends... who were ironically inside. When I came back they were all hiding behind the table incase she was going to come in, hahahaha. Awkward because I even had a 16 crown on :p

Photobucket

This girl right here (the brunette) is Tyler and she is the most amazing friend I have ever had. Why is she in this post? Well, she was my best friend when I turned sixteen and even though shit happened and we weren't close (we still talked every now and again) for about six months, I think it's safe to say that she is once again, now that my being sixteen is coming to a close. Our friendship is just awesome, okay. We have the same sense of humour, we think the same shit about everyone we don't like - it's just one of those things that is hard to explain. I am actually so glad that I have her back and I don't ever want to lose her again. So Tyler, if you're reading this (which you might or might not be).. I LOVE YOU ! :)

Photobucket

I hope you all knew this was coming. I'm sorry that I always go on about it (and I'm sure you've had enough) but obviously, going to France for two weeks with school last year was the highlight of being sixteen, of 2010, of my whole life so far. I won't go back into details as they are all here but it was such an amazing experience and I am definitely going back to that beautiful country in the future.

Photobucket

You're probably wondering why the hell I'm even putting this here but y'know, starting my last ever year of schooling is pretty 'big'. Yes I started Year 12, and am also currently half way through. I have a mere six months left of school forever. After that and the HSC, off into the real world I go. It's such a weird concept.. I've basically spent my whole life so far in school. I suppose I'm excited right now, but I'll probably grow nervous as the time grows nearer. Still, as of right now I can't wait to get out there and see the world.

To finish this off, how about an old photo ;)
